If I am not mistaken this was also featured in the inside scoop in RC car action 1990 issue, I think the truck is basically an Ultima Pro ?

The truck is based on the Ultima II buggy.

The first time it appears in RCCA was in the September issue 1990 as a small ad.
Then the Ultima II was reviewed in November 1990 and finally the truck was reviewed in March 1991.

Latest progress on this resto. Front and rear shocks and body posts.
Any one having a pair of OTW-9 battery braces lying around by any chance?

It's been way too long since I worked on this one.
Had some time over last weekend and finished the wheels.

I love the look of these Boxy early stadium trucks. I have one of these and a Schumacher Shotgun waiting for restoration. I have no manual for the Outlaw Ultima so I'll have to keep any eye on your thread for tips.

I just saw your post in the other forum, but didn't realize the amount of time between the updates.

What'd you do between now and where you left off!?

Well I think that life it self got in the way of this resto. Beside this project I've built a RC10 rere, ongoing restoration on my RC10CE, ongoing restoration on my RC10 Team car, ongoing restoration on my RC10B2, ongoing restoration on my RC10T2, searching for parts for my Kyosho Sideways and so on and so on.. I do like this drug and the drug likes me.

Amazing!

What was the difference between the model with this box art and the black one?
