createx paint additive
Hi,
Novice question here, when using createx paints, is the 4030 additive necessary for painting bodyshells? Thanks

Thanks.
From what I've been reading, it doesn't seem like anyone else uses it either. So the paint is ok to just be used straight from the bottle? And it can also be diluted with water to thin down?

Most colours straight from the bottle for me with a .35 airbrush, however with Createx White I had to always add water to the bottle otherwise it was like honey.
As you say you can use water, but some others do use a reducer, but I tried to stay away from any more chemicals because I'm a wimp. |

Thanks again steve.
It's a 0.5 airbrush that i have, just in the process of practising with the createx stuff. Not as easy at it looks!

Water for me too. Have tried autoair reducer and can't tell difference between using that and using water.
Looking for consistency of milk. I also find opaque white clogs the brush if not let down
