Balls out for sure

Michael from MB models has personally picked and specified the cell manufacturer, and they are built to his exacting standards. His full stick packs for touring cars are some of the best performing cells out there at the moment, as are his 1S packs for 1/12th classes. Both were run at the recent worlds.
Shorties are for buggys and haven't had as much world class competition outings just yet, but mine are excellent.

The Orca cells are great to be fair, I run their saddles. 5mm connectors may be an issue for you if you are still running some 4mm packs?

Hi MB Models have a good range, for me tried and tested SMC lipo, second would be intellect, I have never used balls out, but he as his name on them, and Gens Ace.

Ps there is no difference between 5mm and 4mm plugs for 2 cell racing.

And 100 c is a crock of crap around 35/40 c with reputed lipo seller

I have not used any of the above but am looking to swap my batteries. I heard the team Orion ones are popular and supposed to be very good which I am looking at poss getting and they are also on the brca list so when I get racing at their events all is sweet. The others may also be on the list I don't know as I haven't looked myself.

Hi I thought I would ask this question again, as it was 2 years since it was last posted.

I am after shorty Lipos for my soon to purchase Schumacher KF2 SE.

What would you recommend, what C rating and Capacity and number to purchase would be helpful.

Thanks

Matt

I personally use the Team Orion 4500 Ultra, but they come with 5mm tubes just FYI.

The Balls Out ones are also supposed to be excellent and I think currently run 4mm tubes.

Both great value. Try and get all the same so your leads always go the same way round!
