Default Where should I look for parts for a Tamiya John Player Special 79

A colleague of mine has a Tamiya John Player Special 79 road car, and would like to bring it back to life, but there are some of the plastic bits that are brittle and snapped.

Sort of 3D printing some spares, is there anywhere that he could look?

i have no experience of vintage RC.

Thank you
Tim

You will be surprised what parts can still be found, but some can be very expensive.
You can find an instruction manual at Vintage-RC and a list of part numbers at Tamiyabase

Searching ebay with the part number will throw up any parts available there. You can also check out Tamiyaclub.com and Tamiyabase.com for parts and can post wanted ads on them.

Repro decals for just about every vintage model are available from MCI-Racing
