Lightbulb mad scientist conversion idea

random rc related question. is it possible to convert a 4wd road car into an offroad racer? not actually going to do it, was a mad scientist moment of thought.

OK, so after alot of thought, I am thinking I need to change wheels and tyres for some buggy ones, switch the suspension for some buggy suspension and use a truggy shell so the shell doesnt clash with the longer suspension arms

was done in the past, a couple of companies even sold conversion kits for the TC3 (RC Product Designs & Durango) and that's also kind of how the JConcepts BJ4 started life.
These days, still technically possible but never worth doing

cheaper to sell it and buy something else
parts needed
wishbones front and rear
drive shafts front and rear
new camber links front and rear
new shocks front and rear
new shock towers front and rear
thats just to start with
