You can bodge it in but it's not ideal I wouldn't recommend it . Can you not send it back and get a larger one ?

Why won't it fit, is it too wide or is the lead getting in the way of the servo mount?

If it's the lead, I've heard people shorten the servo mount to clear the lead.

I modified my servo and moved the lead so it comes out the bottom of the servo. I can post some pictures if you want

I have seen people use the 1251 servo, so assuming the 1252 is similarly sized, it should be possible.

If it is because the ball cup / steering link is rubbing against the casing of the servo, this is also the case with the 1258 (high profile unit). It is very slight, and I solved it with the 1258 by cutting a small chamfered edge on the ball cup where it rubs on the servo.

If it is the power lead coming out of the servo, you could use a dremel to remove some material off the alu mount and the plastic frame and give the servo lead enough room not to be crushed

lead totally in wrong place, just wont work without major surgery to the servo or car, then another servo horn I think

Ive asked the shop if its ok to return and then will change to a full size fast servo.

Take the bottom cover off the servo, file a small notch in it so the servo wire and rubber strain relief can exit rearward. Put servo in car. I use 1251's and have had no problem mounting them this way
