Default B5 front axle on a B4

I want to convert my B4 to hex front wheels, but I can't find any axles (#7496) for sale just the steering arms.
So I was wondering if the B5 axles will fit?
Has anyone tried it or can someone measure the B5 axle, so I can see if it's the correct width for the steering arm ie distance of the bearings.
