Default hey guys, newbie :)

hey guys, i live around 20 mins from the track which is good, never raced an rc, got a durga at the moment and should have a decent motor and lipo in it at somepoint, wondering what kinda stuff would be suitable, like tyres and i dont really know much else... are lipo's really essential if im going to use a 6.5-8.5t brushless? i guess so but..

thanks

Hi,

LiPo yes, not essential but its the norm now so why bother with anything else. 6.5/8.5 all fine in 2 and 4wd

Look forward to meeting you

Tyres for our indoor will be Schumacher yellow Mini spikes or mini Pins.

No, it's based on ability. Pop down and race and see how you get on

If its a Durga (DB-01 and not a DB-01R) then you'll have no slipper clutch in it. If your going to get lipo's and a 6.5t motor you'll probably need one. If i were you i'd still pop down at some point, at least you'll have an idea of what you'll be racing against what the circuit is like.
