KF alloy rear link mount question
Hi lads,
Has anyone used the U4640 Alloy rear link mount on the KF/KF2? Does anyone know how the two mounting holes compare to the the standard carbon plates? Do the holes line up so the setup would remain the same? It appears that the ballstud sits lower than the carbon plates too so the roll centres would be different. Does anyone know how this compares with the standard setup? Is it like running 2mm under the standard plate for example? Chris

Here you go fella, taken from the webby
Super strong and stunning looking rear strap for the KF and K1 Aero, the Alloy rear strap has the ability to adjust the width and height of the rear link position with ease. With a quick insert of washers under the strap you can change the roll centre height. It comes with the settings of 33.5mm and 42.5mm link width and with no washers under the strap you will have the equivalent height on the carbon strap of 4mm washers on your ball stud.

Thanks for that mate.
So to keep things the same as standard you will need to use 2mm under the block. Chris

Yes and no, 2mm of washers will sort the height out, however the hole spacings on the alloy link do not fall in line with the carbon kit link. Eg. They are narrower and wider. Hope this helps
