Problems if it's cheap it's likely to be a bit older therefore maybe not so easy to get parts for

I have an Associated T4 truck, a few spares and also wheels and tyres

It's not for racing, just something he can drive round the garden to learn control which is why I'd like something sturdy with parts available.
No point buying something cheap that breaks a lot or can't be repaired.
