Default How to set up 1/10th off road?

Can anyone give me tips or links to find any full and thorough information about what all the adjustments do on 1/10th off road cars.

I would be totally grateful. There is so much scattered confusing information everywhere.

Cheers
Ant

Yeah, that site is amazing. Big respect to Elvo for putting that up. Some of it takes a few reads, but just the tire section alone gives you enough info to think independently about your car set up.

Is the racing scene big in Belgium, I like Belgium a lot. I would look forward to a trip there again if there is good EP off road scene.

This post deserves a bump. That website is absolutely spectacular.

geerno, how much do you think this would have helped us back in the day?

Unrelated news, my CAT SX is on the way. Will get started on rounding up the rest of the gear in the next couple of weeks-- and yes, med. flex fronts are on the list, along with rear roll bars. How is the rest of your car holding up?

Setting up cars was a secret art back then. Pete Stevens would set up my cars for me, and never let me know what any adjustment did! But ironically would give me a bollocking if anything was wrong... Boot Camp! He was a fun guy, they were good days, back then at Aero Nautical Models.

Enjoy the car, I am loving mine. It is tight no matter what set-up.
