Default Batteries...

Hi all, just wondering how many packs of batteries people normally use on an race day?

Looking at starting racing next month and would like to know how many to buy

Thanks

Do you have a 12v or Generator? if so you only need 1 set as you can charge lipos over and over again. Or ask a member for a spare 12v or generator.
If not then 3 sets will cover 1 practice 4 rounds and a final ( 6, 5 min runs)

I prefere 2 packs, then you can recharge pack 1 and in the meantime do a run with pack 2...

"1 set" most likely means 2 packs

Cheers guys. Looking forward to getting up to the Bury track, hopefully with some nice weather too

When I used to race electric years ago I was using SCE's which you cold only really use 1 pack per race, and a 14x2 motor was cutting edge, how times have changed eh lol

Lipos are the bollocks you do need 2 packs/sets to race properly one on charge and one in the car don't listen to these barfoons the ones who say one pack is all you need are usually the ones who's cars run out of power in round 3
