Thanks Craig,

You've come on so much this last 12 months. So quick now - fair play.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Neil

Chris James: that's the format, everyone had to deal with juniors (who I think are amazing for their age) and also some of the top guys in the uk in their races. Perhaps a bad day at the office for you. Better luck next time.

Juniors? Oh do you mean Zain who led for 4 laps with Jimmy McCabe, Ed Kerry and Luke Burley? He did that on pure class and ability until he crashed off.

Awsome day's racing with some real close racing throughout the abilities. As pre-booked by Dudders the sun stayed out

Well run as it is a hectic schedule with a meeting like that.

Well done all the SHRCCC team for the good work

Keep it up

Great meeting and format. The track was the best I've raced on at the club and the day ran without a hitch.

Thanks again,

Luke

Thanks to all at Surrey and hants club, was really enjoyable day. Not really sure on the complaint regarding the new breed of racers, I felt they all drove very well in the races I was in, you just need to give them a chance to let you through. Fair play to some of the dad's also who was giving them a little prompt when quicker cars where coming to lap them.

Well done to all the winners.

indeed.
had a great day, though maybe racing 2 and 4 wheel drive was a little too hectic, but did get a lot of racing done.

one suggestion for next time around. a big scoreboard or display type affair so we can all see which heat is currently on track. or at least a personal assistant to remind me which heat i am in and how many heats until then.

thanks

Default AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

great day
some good, some Ok and some poor driving.
same with marshals
same with attitudes
same as any other event, day, race.

1st time I have done the reedy format and I have to say I liked it a lot.

prefer the normal system but will happily race reedy again, it was a fun adventure.......

as always the SHRCCC team did well....

yes a food van would have been ideal, not sure why there was not one?

juniors and seniors, good, terrible new and old racers, all together in all forms, made for some entertaining races. never a heat the same.

great banter, Darren lewis took some awesome pics.

found a new love for RC again.........

roll on the rest of the year.....

Thats the fastest I'd moved for years, puting him back on his wheels.

Great day ,racing in both classes became a bit stresfull half way thru but definetly enjoyed the great racing giving me the chance to race both of my new cars.
Disappointed by the behaviour of some drivers on the rostum that instead should lead by example ,but a great day anyway.
May I suggest for next big meeting to have some kind of referee in place to make sure to penalise who doesn't drive like they should.
WTF with Apex Model ???

thanks to the club for putting on such a great event, to do both class`s really is hard work but worth while, the reedy style racing is fun but takes some thinking about.
the re-mark about the slower/junior drivers is a bit un-fair,whilst racing against the super-stars all the time would be easier, the different abillities certainly made for a thought when over-taking, but how are they going to get faster?
that young zain holding off three of the top stars for about 4 laps was class
well done shrcc

A great event with some hard racing on track, which I took on the chin as it's only toy car racing after all and I managed to end the day smiling.

I thought racing with such a broad range of abilities to be a very different and interesting experience, as it meant you had to use your peripheral vision a lot more to anticipate the faster guys coming up behind you and look out for the slower cars and incidents. Certainly during the later races I managed to make up places by anticipating and avoiding incidents ahead of me to make up for my mid pack pace. Pressure got to me occasionally, but great to be testing my mettle with some quality National drivers!

I thought the juniors raced excellently, certainly on the pieces of track I marshalled and raced on, letting the lapping cars through and keeping their cars going round with some big egos on the rostrum and as Dudders mentioned, they were also keeping some of the bigger ego's honest!
