Personally I'd find a better way to secure your ESC Capacitor, than allowing it to flop around under the battery strap.

A velcro tab on the battery or tuck it in the rear strap

Sure - attach it, using some kind of all-purpose adhesive (like ShoeGoo or even silicone), to the side of the ESC tray.
That way it won't flop around and potentially damage it, or loosen the wires attached to it, and it's out of the way and forgotten.

Attached (below) is three different example of doing it on 3 of my 22's (3 different esc's, 3 different size capacitors).

It's a "T", but still a 22.

Those who run front battery, esc rear in mid motor.. how do you find it? Wouldnt it make it front end heavy?

Im trying out this config to solve the fan / esc clearance issues on std shell with shelf mount.

Default My LOSI 22

Finished building my LOSI 22.

Everything fitted in nicely.

Can anyone recommend a body shell with plenty of height clearance. The standard body shell is fine for the moment but going to change it soon.

My last car was a LOSI XX 18 years ago cannot wait to race this.
