Do you know if he used the +3 hubs or the kit ones?

Jon used kit rear hub carriers. By the end of the day (in the dry) was also down to 2.5 degree toe in (and ball diff) since the rear was so locked in..

On the roll bar question. You can fit a roll bar to the rear with just a couple of little mods.

I used an xray xb4 roll bar with the xray drop links and just cut a slot in the rear of the rear shock tower with a hacksaw. If you cut it so it fits under the rear roll centre block that acts as the clamp then just drill the holes for the drop links in the wishbone.

If you want a front roll bar you can use the sct front camber link and roll bars again just drill the hole in the wishbones.

Thanks for answering. Could you post some photos?

Anyway... I'm still wondering why TLR discarded a rear sway bar for the 3.0...

The big question for me is why a conversion not a kit surely it wouldn't be to difficult to swap some parts out in however many 22 3.0 boxes they saw fit and slap a sticker on the front saying high grip or low rider. That's not to say they shouldn't offer a conversion to those who might not fancy a second car.

The Exotek sets were despatched from the US this afternoon, so should be here in the next 5 - 7 days now.

Available to pre-order through any dealer with an X-Factory UK account

I've been told the TLR lcg conversions have arrived in Germany. Although I am not about to grab either of the lcg conversions anytime soon, I must admit I really like the look of the Exotek aluminum gearbox...

And it comes with a template to drill your original chassis so no need to swap to a new one

Mine after some frantic wrenching last night, going to be battle of the laydowns tonight at DMS ;-) Same excuse as Sam, wiring as original but I might leave it to allow for gearbox swapping.

Blimey, eagle eyes, yes you are correct ;-) I have both as I got a spare chassis, bodyshell (crap) alloy hubs, brass lipo weight and a choice of gearboxes etc.

I have drilled the new Losi chassis to take the Mid gearbox as well, maximum flexibility.
