Default Connected battery wrong way round :(

Hi All,

Rather stupidly i plugged battery in the wrong way round and it went bang (who would have thought!)

Now when i plug it in correctly it powers up, steering works, speedo boots and beeps as normal but when i try to put throttle on i get a blue light on speedo, and fan spins straight away, when putting brakes on red light comes on and nothing else happens. i tried to reconfigure speedo and first time i put power on the motor turned very briefly and then back to the same.

its a Vampire SR1+ - no obvious external damage but there was a slight smell when I first plugged it in. normally the fan only spins after its warmed up - ie not immediately after putting power on.

going to have a play tonight but anything to suggest that i can try? was planning to swap sensor wire first job.

or is it just dead / scrap

Thanks

Default sensor

Give dms racing a call. I sent mine back with the same problem. Everything worked but no power. Check the sensor connector in the esc mine had come loose.

I've plugged my Vampire sr+1 in backwards about 5 times. Worked fine everytime once I plugged it in correctly afterwards.
