TLR 22 2.0 What Spares do i need???
After a very long lay off from racing 20+ years its time to get back in the game.
I've smashed the credit card all over the net and bought back in, decided 2 wheel drive and for no real reason elected for a 22 2.0 was a Kyosho man back in the day to be honest apart from the electronics it doesn't seem to have moved on a whole lot (i'm sure many will disagree on that) anyway some pointers on the vulnerable points would be greatly appreciated so i can stock up on a few bits etc. The car will be running at the Bury club in the near future, it's having team orion r10 esc orion 7.5 t motor, sanwa gemini x, savox servo etc . Any ideas on whats going to break first, by all accounts they are pretty tough Cheers |

Ive been running mine a year now and all I have broken off the top of my head is one front shock tower and one front wishbone. It was in the same crash and it was one hell of a crash
Maybe some rear hubs wouldn't hurt just incase the ball stud rips out which is something I have seen but not happened to me. maybe a set of hubs, wishbones, towers, just the obvious stuff. That would be a good start. If you are running on astro/high grip I highly recommend the gear diff. It makes the car easier to drive and is less maintenance. Apart from that if anyone else has any suggestions? Welcome back |

agree with the others, i have done a wishbone, front shock tower, and a rear wishbone. But thats all in 18months. Its a really strong car. I went a bit spares mad when i came back, but its not really needed.
Some diff spares are also good to have, I have cracked a thrust washer in the diff as i ran it too long between rebuilds with carbide balls. And i have also seen a couple of people snap the diff screw through too much adjustment.
