Default 201 Diff - Questions!?

Does it matter which way round the diff is installed? Has anyone had the diff nut foul the driveshaft under compression!?

Is it important to compress the diff spring while building!?

Dave I built mine with the screw showing on the left and have had no issues at all. My son put his in with the screw on the right hand side and he's had no issues either. Honestly had no probs with any of them. We did what the instruction book told us to do and gave the spring a small squeeze with pliers.

Yeah, its a good idea to give the spring a good squeeze until its completely compressed. It avoids having to readjust the diff again once the spring settles.
