I'll be taking my Stadiums to Notts and Derby this Sunday for the first round of their winter series and back to A1 the Sunday afterwards if there's any Stadium racers out there want to join me?
They don't have to be top notch £250 race spec models, I'm only running a Firestorm and a FTX Siege for back up |

I'll be racing my Stadium Truck again tomorrow at what looks like a very cold A1 club in Grantham, it would be nice to not be the only Stadium there
We'll also be racing at Broxtowe next week in their Snowman series, I say we as there should be two of us at least, could still do with a few more though |

There were 2 Stadium trucks in the winter MAMs at Kidderminster last weekend. They were quicker than most of the short course.

I never seem to get booked into that quick enough before they have the numbers they want

I'm sure A1 would let you run in the iceman series, I'm not a member there but would be worth asking

I'm doing the Iceman, think I mentioned that
Just don't seem to be able to get booked in for the MAM series at Telford and Kidderminster as they only seem to have one heat of trucks that you seem to have to book in for a month in advance. |

Today's racing was at Manor in Mansfield Woodhouse and it was nice to see twice as many Stadium Trucks as last week, this time we had two, or three if you count my spare.
Both me and Tom had a bad day really with him having steering issues with his Associated T3 and me having nummerous issues with the FTX Siege starting with bending a brand new axle, breaking the front body mount (after I'd strengthened it from breaking in the past), breaking a rear wishbone which also took out the tie rod and shock bottom. Good job I had a spare truck. The Firestorm went OK but wasn't handling as well as the Siege, don't seem to be able to set up the esc properly. Tom did well for his first off road race in 12 years pushing me well to the limits of my ability once he had it sorted and was used to driving it. In the end for both finals (yes we had two) there was only a handful of second between us in each one |

Thanks matey, yeah it's a good setup at Manor, I'm looking forward to being back on pace, I forgot how good truck racing is.
The last off rd buggy I was racing competitively was a mardave cobra, and that was over 12yrs ha ha, time goes to quick lol Truck wise I'm running a thunder tiger phoenix st2 with various t3 mods, ball race kit, shocks, steering setup etc, I'll put some photos up when I get chance Can't wait to get stuck in racing ( and lots of practice) this summer season :-) |

Myself and Shrefinacar took a run over to Notts and Derby off road (NDOR) for some valuable practice ahead of the "National Event" at ARCS raceway next Sunday

Great day at NDOR for the Stadium Trucks, it was round 1 or their summer series. Only myself and Tom ran Stadiums this time but we're hoping to get more interest befire long
The track started off very slick but get better and better as the day went on and the sun came out. From the four qualifying rounds we both broke down in the second one as Tom had ESC trouble and my UJ came apart. The other 3 runs were reasonably well although i did have a front wishbone mount break in round 4 and finished the last lap and a half with the front wishbone flapping around, had that not happened I'd have got a ten lapper easily. Final started well and I had a good lead from Tom but a few mistakes and he caught up, then my front camber link pulled off but Tom crashed on the triple and I caught up on the last lap and in the end after FIFTEEN MINUTES there was only 100th of a second between us with me taking the win, although Tom had waited for me earlier so we could cross the line together All in all a fantastic day, best day's racing I've ver had at NDOR |

Looked a great day! .. Hopefully more will had Stadium Trucks as the season progresses. If I had a 1:1 car I'd try and make more races...Not just stadium Trucks, but I do love a truck!

That's a long way really (although I'm not exactly sure were Suffolk is or whereabouts you race), Kidderminster is closer and at their last round there were two FULL heats of Stadium Trucks |
