It's all backwards compatible, it seems to be high on Durango's list when it comes to designing a new car. However in some cases, if you update one thing, you'll also have to update the other.

For example, if you go for the new shock towers, you need 3mm limiters (or 3mm shorter (52mm) shock shafts) on the rear. And then you might also need the long outdrives, because I expect the V2 to have more rear droop.

With the new front tower you may also want the flat arms, and use 1.5mm shock limiters (or 1.5mm shorter shock shaft and body) to get the exact V2 geometry on your car.

For the longer chassis you may need the new sidepods too.

With prices of Durango spares I'd say it's only worth looking at upgrading if you're only looking at a few parts - the whole package bought seperately will probably cost you more than a new kit.

You'll need the type B top deck #TD320269 and chassis brace #TD320270, if running RM with the type B gearbox, nothing different needed if running MM.

I think buying all the parts at once would not be a very cost effective way to upgrade, but to upgrade as and when you break those parts would be the better option. some parts you will never break (alloy chassis) so those can be purchased as soon as funds allow. The v1 rear hanger can be modified if your handy with a file or know a machinist. I love how my v1 drives and i'm looking forward to seeing a v2 in action to see if it's a real step up in performance.
