Default XB2 Hubs ...Why 7 holes????

Anyone explain when and why if needed, to change rear link setting to the two forward holes or two rear holes on the hub.
I'm only use to three holes on previous rc cars to shorten or lengthen the links
Can't find any information on this ..any help or advice please.thanks ...

I believe it's the rear holes for when you have shocks on the rear, and front holes for when the shocks are on the front of the rear wishbones. The centre hole can be used for front or rear shock setting.
