My 6 wheeler has a silver can and kit gearing and the 104w Lotus has a 21.5 which is slower but more controllable ... Both have kit gearing. I have sold the f104 pro (Lewis Hamilton silver one) as it was beyond me setup wise.

I have a f104w Ferrari coming which Id like to run for the last round ;-)

I hate to ask this, but... F1 at the expense of what class?

Just to play devil's advocate, a lot of the people driving F1 are also driving Tamiya tourers, Mardaves as well as occasionally doing off-road and touring cars. That is to say the F1ers are not exclusively F1ers, but rather the sort of people that enjoy driving a variety of cars. There's a small risk that it could be a class with wildly varying numbers week to week. Needs to be discussed.

Does it have to be at the expense of another class?

That's another question that needs to be asked, there's only a limited amount of time at the basketball court.

I don't think we need to lose a class as we can just set up a seperate championship, its just question of which class they slot in with.

Right, so they could run alongside another class and score points for the F1 trophy. Makes sense.

Thats how it used to be with buggies: they would all race together but there would be seperate trophies for 2wd, 4wd (and possibly SCTs?)

I wouldn't put my F1 in with them, just keep them in the clubman, with no points, maybe put an option on the booking in to select F1,mardave,TC but under the clubman heading, that way Dave could sort out the heats better(nothing wrong with the way they have been)if we start to run an F1 class only it might get so people want to run faster motors,or just end up with 3 every week,

Surely the best thing is to see if there will be enough F1 to make a heat, if there isn't then they can be combined with Clubmans class. if the F1 class has proper rules and runs competitively then it should pick up and keep the numbers.

There is no longer a national series to race this in so people will be looking for quality racing.

I think anyway.

Makes a lot of sense, Clubman is very mixed. If someday lots of F1s turn up they go together in faster heat. If another day lots of people turn up with Lunchboxes and Midnight Pumpkins they go together in a very slow heat

I tried racing the TL01 with the Outlaws when that class existed, it mostly involved putting various broken bits of TL01 in a bin liner and packing up early. Slight exaggeration, but it did involve a tonne of breakages! Brittle old Tamiya plastic is OK at Clubman speeds, but when it gets a solid wack at 45 MPH it is gone...
