IGNORE ME, JUST GOT SOME ON THE BAY

Both my ZXR and Turbo Optima arrived with shock spacers installed instead of the kit plastic clamps.....I found 4 in my toolbox from my original Turbo Mid shocks but where can I get another 4 so I have 8 to do both cars?

Cheers,

Dan

Nice, dont do pink as youll never hear the end of it from Iso. Still it went well with my paint design.

My Next Project, Aluminum Oil Sealed Diffs:

Inspired by Kyosho's V one R4 and TF-6 Diff

All I need to find is a S3M 31T Pulley Bar Stock

Nope, the pics Iso has are yokomo so would advise buying white and using dylon pink. There is a thread somewhere on oople where someone started on how to dye wheels but didnt quite explain properly so i explained how to do it properly but have forgotten as it been years since i did it last.

As always your designs are superb, but am also unsure the size is correct for the pulley, however one issue is the drive cups. The material lyosho used for the zx diffs were too weak and wore quickly so may be an idea to make from the same material the zxr ball diffs outdrives are made from.

I am also awared that the drive cups are weak. I am going to source for 440C stainless steel then heat treat to harden. I like to use stainless steel because I don't like any parts get dusted.

Can anyone else please count the number of tooth on their pulley?? I have recounted pulleys several time already, but I always get 31T.

Welshy, I know you told me not to start on the diff for various reasons. But wait for a week or two. At that time, I can show you why I started on the diff. It may also make your heart skip a beat and start to drool uncontrollably.

I counted the number of tooth in the past and I remember they were 31T.

Plus if you look at this document http://knaeuel.stw-bonn.de/rc/ZX-Gearratio.pdf , the internal ratio of the Lazer series is reported as 2.2143 that is exactly the rounded value obtained by performing this division 31/14 = 2,2142857142857142857142857142857 ........

Bye

oosh123 - cant wait to see it. My plan this month is to test the layshaft and also finish off the gearbox with two new side plates. I have also put my two CF pivot block designs in with a new ZXR undertray and will see if my mate can make a mold of both and at least for the mean time will have something that I can use until you get a round to the pivot block design.

Ok different item. 100T 48DP B4 spur gear. Im hoping to get my first five made up and sent to me by Thursday next week. I also hope to see a layshaft to test as well and will give the car a good test run. Things are coming along a lot quicker than I originally imagined and is brilliant
