It's not as simple as greens and yellows being harder of softer, they are completely different. Agreed the greens are a more natural rubber type that happens to grip better in the wet.

If it is just a bit damp or there are wet and dry patches on the track I often risk yellows as can give the faster laps. However once it's actually wet, don't even bother, they will be rubbish and go for either a BB or Schumacher green.

going on past experience i found yellow full spikes work rather well on wet grass

heh Dave, me and garry took our 2 wheel drive buggys to a field at paull and we both had 12x2 in i had full spikes and garry had mini spikes and mine flew by his while he was struggling for grip, so i now no my tyre choice
