Default 2016 North East Regional Dates

Hi Everyone

Here are the confirmed dates for the North East Regional's
It will be 3 out 5 to count in each class. As this year we welcome Bury to host a round of the NE series

RHR April 9th 2wd & April 10th 4wd
Bury May 28th 4wd & May 29th 2wd
South Shields June 25th 2wd & 26th 4wd
Batley July 10th 2wd
Teesside July 30th 4wd & 31st 2wd
Batley September 4th 4wd

Please make sure your BRCA Memberships are Valid

Further Information to follow in regards to rules

Booking in via the website is now open. Booking in on http://brca-northeast.net/ try using Google Chrome, Firefox or safari as apposed to Internet Explorer.

Pleased to see another venue on the calendar, I raced at Bury last year and it's a great track. Are you able to camp there though? The North West tend to run both classes on the same day so nobody had stayed overnight when I was there....

Well hopefully if its a 2 day event....dont think many from The North East could travelthere both days....would be wrecked??

Sorry for the late reply guys. Yes it will be a 2 day event with camping. The only 1 day events are the Batley rounds

Hi looking at dojng the 2wd rounds girst time in 20 years, how much is it each round and are there any specific tyre rules?

Not quite

The tires have to be reasonably commercially available to all racers before the day of the meeting.
A few years back there was a big issue with people using 2 row studs that they had in their box. and some felt this gave them an unfair advantage on that track as the 2 row studs had been discontinued.

So if its still being produced and is available from a model shop then its ok to use without issue.
if you use something thats unique and you win, there will be grumblings.

That's the address of their current indoor venue, pretty sure their outdoor regional events are held a Preston Park, but sure someone from the club will be able to confirm.
