First since i have s shocks i would like to have the zxr james instone front shockmont 2 for short shocks ,do you get what i mean ???
since its so much easier to get the rb5/zx5 shocks cheap. And the zxs 2 degree bracket with like 3 degrees instead of 2 just add the difference between the 1,5 and the 2 degree brackets 2 times and we should have 3 i think. mvh isobarik |

I always loved the Carbon ZXR Tub chassis that FibreLyte designed and made - great work by them. Had 1 but stupidly sold it so will have to make do with my Yokomo 94 tub.

I designed the tub and fibrelyte sold it on plus to other companies. The original and never sold version Ive managed to get again and is in two pieces, but aim to get it made again as that won me a lot of events. You can still buy them

Welsh just have the measures from the zxs bracket and you wll be fine and on the bottom of the bracket there is an opening that has to be widened to make it fit the zxr.

Still Iso what do you estimate the mm distance I need to lower the holes by? Also found the pivot block front plate, just need to find time to do this, hopefully by this weekend.

ISO, is this ok? Ive based it on the single hole on the circular tower I use as that single hole works for the smaller shocks so think I have this spot on however have had to do away with the inner big hole.

15 tooth is out of the question It caused the belts to bind. The 14 tooth ones are very smooth. I will do a test run this weekend.

Ok, cars been prepared and am unsure on diffs as I didnt rebuild them but intend to give it a good test within the next two weeks. Just waiting on shapeways to send my bits to add to test several items at once. The gearbox made by Alcyon is a superb design and the diff fits in perfectly. Ive gone back to my original shock layout using tamiya manual speed control copper centre posts instead of the kyosho / traxxas shock holdrs as it gives more freedom to the shocks and works for my style of driving so hope this is also whats been missing as cars not doing all I know its capable of doing. Still car looks stunning with this gearbox so know it should do well. I will update shortly on the test.

After the failure of the twin belt system in my optima mid, I have removed my components from the Mid and transferred them to the lazer. I will be doing extensive high load tests on the lazer printed pulleys by running the lazer on road with bald off road tyres and lowering the suspension. That was how i destroyed the short belt in my optima mid twin belt conversion. Will report back results next week. Also my 3D printed LA-31 has been improved by making it thicker.
