Default blizzard and ezrun 9t

have been running an ezrun 9t in my rat for a while and its been great and given good speed etc, looking at buying the blizzard and wondered if anyone has run an 9t in one on here before I buy, as when i tried the 9t in df03 a while back it was a little bit out of its depth due to only being low amp out put etc. anyone tried it, did it have good speed? Thanks.

Should work fine so long as you use the right gear ratio (an FDR of 8.5 should be ok).

I use a 6.5 in my X4 pro and it loves the power

As far as im aware, they both have similar drivetrains, apart from there being no slipper clitch on the Blizzard

I've tried the 9t/35A system in a Bmax, which 'heavily influenced' the X4-Pro, and it didn't work.
It gets too hot and shuts down after about 4 mins.
Using the 60A esc its fine, so the problem isn't the motor.
In the end I modified my 35A by fitting a capacitor bank like the 60A uses and that seems to have cooled it down enough to work, though I don't use it in the Bmax.

I thought it may struggle, they make a great 2wd system though, looks like it will have to be X-Pro

Positronic runs the 9T ezrun and 35amp esc in a DF-03 and has no problems, it hasn't overheated ever. And that car previously killed a cheap brushed motor in about 5 minutes (overheated). The Team C 4wd is tons smoother and more efficient than the DF-03 (and probably b-max also btw) too so it _should_ work but it would be better to use the 60 amp esc and probably a motor with a bigger rotor just to be sure

In the blizzard to have she same speed and acceleration i think you have to take a 7.5 the 9. will be too smouth.
You have to take and ESC 60Amp or the best 120Amp.

Yeah only time I had an issue in my df03 with the 9t 35a was when the fan got jammed (not much room in a df03) and it thermaled, long as the fans going it's fine.

That said think I'll put something faster in it, and put the 9t in the tc02
