Default EoE in 2013 - What's new?

Driving down the A12 the other day; a large red container with some peeps hard at work grabbed my attention. Knowing it's right on ARC territory and being a nosy git, I investigated.

I won't bang on about it but let's just say in the flesh it's much more than the pictures do justice. The fact they have shifted over 22,000 tonnes (that's not a typo!) of earth makes my head hurt! For those of us LBC/MORERCers that shifted a couple of barrows of aggregate - we had 8 tonne and that included the shingle for the pipes!!! As a certain ghostly merchant whom inspired by his recent X6 purchase keeps saying - do the math!

The amount of work put in to date is phenomenal and by their own volition, have a long way to go!

All the effort put in so far will be so worth it. The region needed this sort of venture.
See you at the AGM.

Looks good, as long as the sand is removed from the track.

Looks pretty impressive.

Be interested to see what it drives like, as the photos make it look rather large.

There is a new "What's new"

Colchester MCC are in the process of getting everything in order for indoors winter racing next winter. (Emphasised, just in case Wrighty rolls up on Sunday)

All the chit-chat is HERE

In summary -
Sunday Mornings - 9-1pm
Dec-Feb

The "new" just keeps on coming! New tools for scrutineers.:

There are new names racing in the EoE. Which some would say is a good thing.

Now there is a concern by one or two (mostly one) that these drivers might be "a bit good". Then there are drivers that were previously good, who have also decided to become, "a bit good". With this in mind, I checked with the BRCA for clarification on being "a bit good" or as the purists say "talent", and it turns out that being "a bit good" is actually "a bit cheaty"

The good news it the BRCA now supplies a scrutineer box to restrict the amount of talent any individual is allowed to display.

To compete, your talent must fit in the EoE box. Now it has been said that our talent box comes up a little smaller - BUT - just because your talent fits just fine in another region or in the nationals without issue, it doesn't mean you comply. Your talent must fit and not just at rest but throughout travel.

Where talent does exceed the required amount, it is deemed perfectly acceptable for drivers to modify their talent in order to fit in the box. In most cases a dremel is used to shave a couple of millimeters off the thumbs.

Hope this clarifies the issue and puts the mind at ease.

Your sincerely

The mind

Default Talent problem

I have lived with the "too big for the box talent" most of my adult life...
I found a good squirt of lube helps squeeze it in.......... ....on the tyres of course
