Default B Max wheel fitment

I take it the B max takes std 4wd front hex wheels (Losi style) and pin drive on the rear?

I wonder if you could get the pre glued sch wheels on it (pin front)??

Not long to go now till it turns up!!!

Most (if not all) hex fitments are located on a pin, so I would imagine removing the hex would allow you to use the pin only. You may require an axle spacer similar to the B4 rear, so the load is transferred correctly through the bearings etc..

Guys the Bmax is pin all round, not hex fronts! It's like the cat!

However, one of the option parts is a conversion to Bx front hexes, so the choice is there!

I think some spares are out (well in fact they definitely are as Adi has shown us!) but not sure about the options. The hexes are BM-011F. If anyone knows if the Bx hexes are standard size so other wheels would fit that would be much appreciated!?

I've bought a set of schuey wheels to try (need to check the offsets match), haven't seen anywhere with the preglueds yet, anyone have them in stock??

I use B44 JConcepts Rulux wheels on my BX with no problems with the front hexes, I guess that means std B44 & Losi wheels should fit ok as well.

The BX hexes are a standard size so the Losi, JConcepts & Yok BX (of course) wheels will fit.

However, check the B44 ones first as the BX hex may be too shallow & bind on the hub.

Has anyone else tried the preglued's on the Bmax yet? I haven't got an exact measurement but think it makes the front narrower?

Have scrubbed a set in and hoping to do a back to back with standard wheels at Worksop, but wouldn't mind input from anyone else?

I may be being thick here but do you leave the bevel washer on the front axel when using the BX wheel hex. The reason I ask is if you take the bevel washer of there is alot of space between the hub and hex but keeping the washer on the pins lines up perfect and there is no space. Probably answered my own question there but just to be sure.

No, the bevel washer should be off. The hex then fits with the pin hole outboard.
