Default Sourcing gears?

For my uni project (building a car from scratch), we are trying to find some gears for our transmission.

We are after some MOD1(I think, nitro pitch?) gears to come off the nitro engine, then 2 pulleys for a belt.

Wheres the best place to source gears from?

you're probably best buying the belts and transmission from the kind of car you're looking at building.

Thing is, the regulations force it to be a mix of scale, 10th scale engine (.12) and wheels, but 8th scale size and weight
