I think it's all in your list mate.

The wide rear makes the car a little nicer to drive, you will certainly notice it in the lap times though!

Get it built and get it out there ... still the best 2wd I 've ever driven in all of my 23 years of racing!

Essentially if you buy a new stock RB5 you will get an SP.

The car is quite simply the best single box 2wd out there at the moment (in my opinion) and you only have to look @ Rich Cree's results from the Petit race to see that ... he built the car for the even, was still sticking bits on it before practice and then stuck it straight in the A final (nearly won a leg too!).

Get an RB5, you will not be disapointed!

We are getting SP conversions into stock soon if you need to upgrade from the RB5 standard UMW517.

It is cheaper this way at present as we have the RB5 at a good price.
Or cheaper still if you only buy the essential items.

I am waiting for Rich to get back to me but i am pretty sure he run standard RB5

Neil, I believe that in addition to UMW517 anybody with an original spec RB5 will need

the 65.5mm driveshaft dogbones
38mm shock bodies
54mm shock shafts
short rear tower (or the Atomic Carbon equivelent if like me you like to have your shocks less inclinded)

I am looking at getting the UMW517 when it comes out and even I, who have run the car since 2007, needs some extra bits (shock bodies and tower mainly).

Just wanted to make sure that people understood exactly what they would need to build a Shin / Willets spec car!

I think MicroTech have one on the shelf, if not it won't take them long to get you one.

It was not to bad. It will calulate it for you in the shopping cart. So just check that out. I'm in Australia. Think it came to about $30 which is the same as everybody else in the States to Aus.

From memory the kit was $240-00.

Only place I could find in stock. And it's way cheaper to buy from the States over England from Australia.
