F1's could go in with the GT12s, comparable drive axels and speed, and the Gt class is dropping off a bit

When I raced f1s in the 90s they were in a heat with the 1/12 cars - there were no motor limits and they were marginally faster. Most of the F1s ran 27t motors and the heat worked quite well.

When you talk about your RC racing in the 90s it seems like you are talking about something that happened long long ago. But, come on... It was just the 90s, like last week... Maybe I am just getting old

I do have a buggy with venoms but it has no motor installed, I'm not really into the modern buggies ... Got a wicked Firedragon though :-)

Dave is right, it is a heck of a challenge And lots of fun! I'll be splitting my time between clubman and stock buggy I think. Stock buggy does feel way more "off road" than buggy carpet racing usually does.

right guys i have introduced a F1 class for booking in. its still clubman class but will be easier to sort your classes for a speedy start on club nights.
so please pre book online in the relevant class you wish to enter..

booking in will close at 6:50pm !!
after this and you may miss round 1..
racing will start at 7pm !!
(I'm in heat 1 and this gives me 10 min's to get 2 cars ready to go )
