Default Tresrey DEX410 Front Aluminium GB positioner

Would anyone have any knowledge of a UK based shop who has stock of part TYTD054 (the front GB positioner for DEX410) please ? I have noticed a few online but all are overseas a way.

I have tried the norm of JE and MB models, no luck

Cheers

John

I couldn't even find one overseas, so let me know if you have any luck finding them!!

Exotek are bringing out some gold ones soon if you don't mind waiting!!

Available at dms racing

Last I read, the Tresrey front gearbox holders were discontinued.

Why would they discontinue them?

It is annoying when a company discontinues a mod when they still sell the model I have come across this in the nitro heli arena many times and the tresrey website does indeed show it as discontinued.

Want it to be Tresrey as all my other updates are Tresrey to be fair. I will leave it as being the plastic one or get a TD one anodised Tresrey red I think.

Shame as they are still making a few new parts for the DEX410, just bought the rear gearbox inserts !

Oh well, will go another route.

I shot them an email to see what they say. I just see not reason on why they would discontinue the item..It looked like it would have worked perfectly well as an upgrade and it's nice to keep the aluminum upgrades red when all your other ones are too

Here is the reply I got from Tresrey.

"People didn't buy them when they were in stock, thats why they were discontinued. Tresrey will not be making any in the near future either. Sorry"

Looks like we will have to go with Durango or Exotek

That sucks, but i guess as a business no point making something people don't buy.

I'll get one of the others and get it annodised I think, sounds lame I know, but I like to keep the car looking the same rather than bits and bobs from different tuners.

Funny thing is it still shows on their website I believe as being available to purchase (if my jap translation is correct)

TBH, most of the load will "usually" go through the rear holder anyway, so as a functional upgrade the front holder is a bit of a none event.

I think onekiwi has managed to snap a rear........ the fronts (plastic or otherwise), seem to last forever.

I snapped a Tresray rear one at the OOple RHR. I only noticed when it started sounding like a Tractor on the straight indoors at DMS!! I have now fitted a TD one which is a far superior piece of metal work TBH!!
