what motor turn is advised for a begginer starting at batley?

i'd say a 13.5 or 10.5

As we are about to move indoors, to a full carpet and probably fairly tight track, certainly no lower than 10.5 and probably a 13.5 would be best.

I run a 13.5t in my yz2, using a bit of boost which kicks in on the straight (0.5s delay).
Even outside I don't really see much speed deficit against the faster drivers (on the straight). Obviously I'm not one of them, but the added drivability of the car makes up for any minor loss of top speed
