Really pleased with it
Hi Dan, By any chance did you run at Stoke On Trent last night?

If you are using the alloy rear hubs you have to use the middle row of holes as using the top row causes the wheels to rub on the turnbuckle!

You could always use the old pop-on ends I suppose.

I will be running the car for the first time this weekend after building it the day after it was released!

I find they can rub even with the kit hubs. Seems a bit of an oversight by Schumacher...

The rear links also rub on the transmission housings if you use the allow rear link on the inner holes. I've had to go back to the older type links on the rear, seems like the captive ball joints are a bit too big! I hope Schumacher come up with a solution to this as I like to use the captive ball joints.

Default Painting ispirations?

Hello K2 owners, i'm still looking for a nice colour sheme for my cat.
I do have my main colour, it's a dark blue metalic.
My airbrush skills are poorly, so it should be not to difficult to paint....(but i would be thankfull of every kind of picture!)

Would you be so kind and post some pics of your cats for some inspiration.

Thx in advance and

@micholix, the depth of the blue looks amazing, but I hope you plan to run it with white wheels! Maybe it's me, but I just can't see dark painted buggies on the track anymore. Mine is at the painters currently, fluorescent colours for me!

Thanks HeavyD99,

Yes, i do have some white weels, too.
First i wanted a combination with that blue-white and some brite lemon green, but decided to stick only with the blue and white, to keep it simple to paint for me, as it just was my third airbrush experience.

It is not that deep dark it may looks like on the screen, it was a cloudy day today and my cell phone does not make the best pictures, too.
The main colour is a transparent ultramarine, backed with silver and i did more layers at the edges to make them darker, the flat areas are a bit brighter.
May you can see it better from a photo from the top?

If i have to much trouble to see it, may i will do a painting with the green too? Eyes are getting worser as i'm 40+...

Default Steering issues!

I was doing some adjustments on the camber linkages and steering and i noticed some sloop on the inner steering linkages, but only on the left hand side.
I never ran my car yet, so may i have a bad bearing, or the steering pivots does have to much play in the bearing!?
I reasambled the hole steering parts, as i first thought, i forgot a shims, or did something wrong, but everything is just like the manual sayes...

Could someone please be so kind, and check that on his car?

Thanks in advance, your help would be much appreciated.
