Default The Ten4 project, in case you havent seen it yet

Here is the Ten4, a B44 and a RC10 collided and this is what it morphed into! A few parts are shapeways and the store will be open soon. The shock towers will be available from me. Robinson Racing is making the pulleys and idler gears. The rest is easily optained from your hobby shop of choice.

Assuming you have nothing to start with.....all prices approximate
$199 world's kit
$112 b44 and other oem parts from Tower, see list below
$40 shock towers
$100 shapeways printed parts
$50 pulleys and idlers

Prices are just estimates except I'm sure I can hit the $40 towers. The rest is out of my hands. Some may want their own take on it, so prices and items may change.

Nice. Btw, on the second picture, it seems the front belt pulley gets pulled a little back and seems to make a little angle, due to belt tension?

Pulleys are just sitting there in the pic with no idler or shaft. Prototype pulleys are in the mail from Robinson Racing so I'll update soon

Ah, I see. I was already wondering why the belt wouldn't start jumping off the pulley, as it was angled like on the picture. But if part is a mock-up, it makes more sense.

You have good contacts @ Robinson, it seems. I once asked them for a pinion with 3.2mm hole instead of 2mm, and that was about impossible to pull off, it would cost a lot of money. While it wasn't even a custom part, just drilling a different size hole.

Here are the prototype pulleys and idlers, as well as some very trick diff gears. The final versions will be heat treated and anodized.

Brian has made a quick video of his Ten4, almost ready for a shakedown on the track

Thanks again Jeff!
