i use JC rulux wheels all the time now - tough as old boots and they run true which unfortunately can't be said for the std SX wheels

i would say they look better too but that's just my opinion !!

Just checked mine, they were new on for Worksop and did 1 practice, 4 qualifiers and a final - got plenty of abuse during this ofcause.

No damage to any of my wheels, all seem fine.

They are very lightweight and flexible wheels, I have cut a few pairs narrow ready for Belgium and they are very plyable - don't seem brittle. I wonder if you have just been unlucky.

Saying this, the Minipin tyre does provide plenty of protection to the wheel as they overhang plenty, when we run Minispikes for outdoors the wheel is more exposed.

I'll second that : no cracks or damage.
I'm actually quite happy with the Schumacher wheels. Especially the front wheels. I never liked the Losi type hex.

Chris, preparing some staggered ribs for Kampenhout ?

I have been using the SX wheels all through winter outdoors, and the only time I had a problem was a VERY! cold day at EPR. Spoke to some of my colleagues and they had similiar problem..(differant wheel mfr's) Apart from that they are excellent.

I checked this morning the first set which were glued up by myself are O.K but the 2 sets that have the cracking were the preglued. I will try somemore of my own built tyres and go from there.
