At the last outdoor meeting I ran:
Front: Slim Mini Spike (Yellow) Rear: Mini Pin (Yellow) - Found these more predictable on power than Ballistic greens. This is on a Yokomo 4wd. Weather was fine but the track stayed wet/ damp all day. When the track does dry out completely Mini Spikes (yellow) rear and cut staggers (yellow) on the front is usually the way to go. Depends on which class you're running. I've basically tried almost every tyre combo on this track running 2wd.
Basically bb greens on rear in wet/damp conditions, thats a must. Most 4wd run bb greens up front too whether it's the 2wd version or 4wd version. Now 2wd in the wet is a different story as it depends on what type of 2wd you run whether it be mid motor of forward motor, model and personal preference. I find with my tm2v2 in greasy/wet conditions that bb greens on the rear and silver cuts staggers is perfect as the forward motor car has loads of steering anyway and this was also the case with my old rb6 (a more steery mid motor car) But on my tc02c evo I've recently found that using bb green on the rear with schumacher green minispikes at the front works the best as the silver cuts push too much with that car. In the dry recently, bb whites have become more prominent especially in 2wd. Whites are far less edgy than schumacher yellows so especially when the grip gets very high it's the way to go around bury. But again it's personal preference
