2010 Indoor Spring Championship

This Friday see's our third Championship starting...

We shall be running 1:10th scale Touring Cars in 3 formulas as before with the changes to current driver standings based upon the Winter Championships that have recently taken place. New drivers will be added and classed based on their experience, however please note that as before, only club members will gain points for the championships.

As before we are also running the 1:18th scale micros, in terms of rules we are running as before as an open championship and this time if we have the same number of drivers then I'll be splitting you all into 3 formulas like the TCs, again based upon standings in the previous championships.

No other changes so we look forward to seeing you all this Friday.

I'm out of contention for this championship as I won't be able to race for the next 3 weeks due to work and holiday ocmmitments. I'll be back for the later half of the championship to mess things about though.

Thanks to everyone for your warm welcome last week. This was the 1st time my car had moved since putting her together, and it proved more challenging than I thought racing on this surface.

I had a few technical difficulties during the heats, (thanks to those who assisted my quick recovery) but things seemed to be coming together towards the end of the B Final.

Thanks to some good tips I’ve spent some more time adjusting the set up, so hopefully I’ll find myself improving next week.

The championship is now over and I'll be publishing the final points and results online after we have handed out the trophies on Monday 14 June.
