Cheapest way to a new x6 squared ?
I'm sure it's being asked before, but as I already have an x6, it might be different for me....
Anyhow, I'd like a new x6 as mine is getting tierd, but don't want to buy a new FT b4 as well. As I have losi shocks etc already, could a buy a rtr b4 for the conversion kit ? |

you could still use all the b4 bits your using now just take them off your x6
or you could always make alist of what you need then buy them instead of a donner as youve said you have most of the bits any way although i am open to other opinions hope this helps mate

From the bits that I know off you'd more than likely be better off buying the bits seperate instead of buying a new B4 to replace them for a whole 'new' car.
Minus turnbuckles + diff I think theres around 10 parts that you need for the front end, Microtech do really good deals for B4 spares online btw! Some people have bought new B4s and sold off the unwanted bits, but to be fair this isnt a cost effective route in my opinion. |

I guess I don't quite understand the question. We have suggested that those who want to upgrade from original to Squared simply get the Squared Kit and transfer over all the AE bits from their old car.
Now, if it's the AE bits that are tired, and that's likely the case, then just replace the AE bits and keep running the original car. If you want the Squared and do not plan to sell the original car, then, as has been stated, you can remove the expensive stuff, including shocks, turnbuckles & ball studs, and the tranny/diff/slipper assembly, buy a Squared Kit and a few AE plastic parts. That would not be too expensive. |
