Default What to buy for a Newbie

Thinking about starting in 1/8th but unsure on what buggy to buy as a starter in the class.
And if it is worth getting a RTR for the value then getting option parts and better electronics for it as another method then buying just a roller first

Any help on ideas for what car to buy would be great, Cheers

What are you buying the buggy for? Racing? I'd recommend buying a proper race kit if you are as a rtr isn't really up to it.
I'd recommend a mugen mbx7 and electronics Sky rc toro 150 amp and a hobbyking motor 1900-2100 kv

It all depends on a number of factors.

Bash or race or both?
Which track?

My advice would be if your bashing start with something most 1/8th drivers start with hyper, hpi, kyosho and go down the RTR route.

If you want to race then they are lots of top manufactures out there with strong cars, it's best to go down to your local track and see what everyone else is running.

You want something with good parts support.
