Default XBOX 360 - Jasper Model?

Hello all,

I am looking for a cheap xbox. However, I recently came across the jasper models for sale on ebay.

Looking into it a bit more, I think a jasper model would be best, as there is less risk of any faults. However, it seems they are only for sale on ebay?

Are all UK xbox 360's jasper now? is it only the jasper xbox arcade that has built in 256mb memory? or did the old non-jasper ones have this too?

Thanks,

Chris.

An easy way to identify a Jasper chipset X-box is they have the smaller 150 Watts power supply unit (brick) as they require less power

Arcade model avoid unless your skint ! You really need an Elite or Super Elite so you can run games straight off the HDD for faster loading times and less disc drive noise. Also reduces the chance of the discs being scratched and has a HDMI port too
Hey JT!

Cheers for the reply. I'll take a look in Game / Gamestation, and see what they've got.

I don't really want to spend much on it to be honest. I'm struggling to justify having both a PS3, and an xbox.

I only want it for playing COD and fifa online against my mates.

I'm fairly sure I read that the newer Arcade models have a hdmi port now too.

All xbox's are the same now the only difference is the colour of the case and the accessories that come with it.

Hard drives should be pretty easy to pick up from ebay but I would try and get a brand new console if you can so that you've got a decent warranty.
