Was good fun, got my fix and made the wife happy so all good the new layout and going the wrong way was better you could get some good speed down the straight without fear of hitting a building ha ha , also happy to come top of the 2wd but I think it would have been a great race to watch hearing what was happening behind me.

Would have been nice to have some other 4WD to race against but very happy with the first run of the FS2 "RIZLA" special.
Roll on the 31st.

Was a quiet one, most regulars were busy , some at either of the local regionals and also Aldershot On Road was on. Still had a great blast and a giggle though

Have just seen my B final lap times too. The most consistent race of my life! Now, where do I find an extra 2 seconds a lap from; that is the question.

Did you put on those different tyres?

As I watched you, you were VERY smooth and consistant. Thing about SHRCCC it rewards the clean consistant driver rather than the balls out style.

Yeah I used some yellow mini-spikes from Adam from round 3 onwards. Much easier to drive and I could chuck it in a bit more. Getting the power down is the challenge though. The car wants to swap ends, so I am tickling it around, hence being ultra smooth, but I need to find some extra time.

I need to get some new rubber all round and play with set up next time, but I dont get much chance with the car being used in two heats every round. If Ben continues to enjoy it then I will get him an RTR very soon.

Yea, difficult to use it in both heats. I didnt realise tbh so I could have given you more time to change cells etc

Certainly Ben needs his own car, he drove REALLY well

Did you back off the slipper?

Just a fraction. Probably should have used a gap between rounds to fiddle with it a bit more. It's the obvious starting point.

That aside it was great to be on the dirt again. All reliable, so much quicker than 18 years ago and no faffing around hoping to last the 5 minutes before a mega-dump. Long live LIPOs!
