Default Esc switches off after a few seconds of brake?

I have a skyrc toro 120a esc which I accidentally connected up the wrong way round... it now seems to work ok going forwards, but shuts down after a couple of seconds on the brake.

Is it goosed?

update firmware. I can help with this..
Alternatively set break endpoint to less than full so it will never be able to switch off, as it can't hit full break endpoint for the required time .
