Not to be a pain, but there's a whole discussion on another club's FB page that you cannot hold a (BRCA sanctioned) event the same day as the BRCA AGM. What it doesn't say is what a BRCA sanctioned event is (regional and national obviously are).
Are you guys aware of this? Could be a problem as a national host venue.

This would be only for official BRCA Events such as Nationals and Regionals. The rules state the following:-

3. DEFINITION OF TERMS USED.
3.1 ‘Committee’ - The BRCA 1/10th Off-Road Section Committee as established by the BRCA Constitution.
Committee decisions require a quorum consisting of at least 40% of the total committee membership.
3.2 ‘Sanctioned Event’ - A race event for which the Committee has approved the date(s), venue(s) and
organiser(s). Only Sanctioned events may use the letters BRCA in their title.

Looking forward to brushing the dust off on Sunday.

Hmmm, interesting, although, is there a BRCA ref at our club meeting? I doubt it matters in my opinion.

I personally think it's a bit like the Church of England telling us all what to do when all the vicars are in church fiddling kids.

I'm at Brands Hatch anyway, so I won't be there I'm afraid.

The issue came about because it is not clear in the BRCA handbook what a sanctioned event is in the 1/8 Rallycross section.

It is clear from the rules in the 1/10 offroad that this is not a sanctioned event.

If not I'm sure someone there will have a spare.

Thanks Dave!

I really enjoyed yesterdays meeting, nice atmosphere all round!

Was it me, or did the track feel really good? I guess being dry but cool, kept the dust down. Either way it was great to race on
