Default 511x body

Where can I get one?

I have a 501x and I need to finish it off, tidy the wiring up and paint up a body.
Thing is, I really hate the 501 body.
I bought the car cause I love the chassis, I was prepared to tolerate the body but.....nope, want rid of it if possible.

Bought mine on ebay, the only place someone had one in stock at the time. Try the Hong Kong based shops like rcmart.com and rc-mushroom.com, they sometimes have something EU and US shops dont.

What about one of the Team Azarishi bodies.. The Tateego body is pretty cool. http://www.team-azarashi.com/prodenglish.html

In multiple places it is said, that 511 body needs modification to fit 501 chassis, but I can't find the information on what needs to be modified anywhere. So before I go and buy one (and possibly be disappointed due to modifications ruining the looks of it), has someone fitted a 511 body on 501 and if so, could you post pics on the modifications needed?

I`m after purchasing a new shell for my 501 also and have been looking at the 511 shell as its a very simliar design to the Baldre shell for the Db-01.

Could anyone just confirm that the 511 is a correct fit please? Jimmy?

Andy

Ok i tried a b44 shell on it looks like it might fit but would need some slight adjustment around the front of the shell , also the 501 undertray kicks out at the back end which would also stop it going on as the B44 shell is straight edged on both sides.

Can`t give you a defineat answer as i could only offer the B44 shell upto my 501 .

Hope this helps

Andy

I think the d4 will be the best fit and you can get the sexy jconcepts scoopless too. I saw a 501 running one once.

thanks for all the input guys, its much appreciated the D4 one looks nice, but scoopless is basically the opposite of what im after, i need lots of scoops to get nice cool air to the motor, out of the 501x, 501x worlds and 511 bodies, which one has the most space inside, im mainly after space around the motor area so i can fit a good heatsink/fan arrangement
