TEAM EPIC do some which are designed to take the wire at 90 degrees

Part numnber is TEP2501 - £2.49 per pair

Link to them on the EPIC sire here - http://www.teamepiconline.com/shop/i...p?item=TEP2501

I do that at the mo Carl, just wondering if there was something out there that did it differently.

I simply take my dremel with a stone grinding head and cut a big notch out of the standard bullet where the wire enters. Then I can solder the wire in at 90* and still have a nice gold colored surrounding the wire...

Either that or simply solder it to the top of the post at 90* as someone else said. Either way works perfectly...

Those are intellect 4mm pin connectors that are rebadged in the US by Team Epic. You could probably save money by cutting out the middle man...

Yes but the ones you show still need to be shipped to the UK, these ones "badged" by TEAM EPIC are just £2.49 per pair are already here in the UK in all stores who carry EPIC products, even with inland postage on top they would be no more than £3.50 for a pair (which is far less than most other 4mm type connectors) and more than likely delivered to your door the next day. At $2.40 the ones you show would need to get to the UK for less than £1.90 postage plus would take longer to arrive due to the distance. For me I cannot see the benefit in getting somthing like this from overseas at all.......

I never new the angle of wire entry, ontop of a 4mm connector, was such a hottly debated issue lol..... I have soldered the wires at 90' on most of my buggies, to clear shells.
