Default Is it Wednesday yet?

I know you shouldn't wish the days away, but really can't wait for my weekly fix at FORCC. Outside racing is off the agenda for me currently so having my Wednesday night to look forward to is really important to me.

This week we had (in my opinion) one of the best tracks for a while, good close racing and a real buzz to the place. I think the revised start procedure is working well too.

Good to see some of those drivers that ventured elsewhere making a welcome return too. We're not the "all singing all dancing" type of club - but we are very much a club, not just a venue. We do what we do week in, week out, and to be honest I think we do it bloody well, thanks to the hard work that goes on (primarily) behind the scenes.

Over 50 drivers this week (again) at this time of year can't be a bad number for a midweek bash in a village hall.......just goes to show sometimes it's not what you do, it's how you do it......

A few changes to my car, some help (which is always readily available at FORCC) with my ESC setiings (thanks Dave) and I've got my mojo back and hoping to keep mixing it at the sharper end of the field.

See you Wednesday chaps!!

Another good night at FORCC. 50+ drivers spread over 7 heats and quite a challenging track to test the masses.

Good to see our newer drivers improving and working their way up the ranks.

Also we hope everyone liked the latest addition of the TV on the wall showing race start order, countdown time and race order. What's next - a live in car feed to the TV?

See you all next week!

Agree Dave

had a great time last night the track was good the atmosphere at forcc is second to none what I love about it every body knows what's going on and when without being told the noobs are not afraid to ask for help as its so friendly and the racing is proper close from the sharp end all the way down the abilitys.

The format has its advantages and dis advantages but it works well you feel even tho you are racing three finals you also get a chance at running towards the front in all heats. The down side to this is the two out of three to count as by the time you make the front the guy who was at the front has already won the meeting game over I recon it should be changed to FTD for the overal meeting results but keep the heat finishing order this way if you have a blinding one run and win one leg you have a chance to start pole next meeting but you may only win one leg for that track

If that makes sence

Basically keep as is but do final overal as FTD for the next weeks start order.

You can all tell me to do one but its just a suggestion.

Stu
