it is a ta05 drivetrain with a slipper clutch and an off-road chassis

if you look very closley you can see that there are no slipper pads, the plates fit dircetly in to were the slipper pads would be,just to give drive, and the would be slipper plates are hex shaped, and made of plastic, and im guessing here that the hop up slipper will be, metal plates rounded and have the pads from b4 im guessing

Looks good! Materials are TA05 style rather than TT-01 style, so should be a good club racer.

If I win the lottery I might try one at the local club.

Carl is right, there's no slipper clutch - but they use the 501X spur so you don't have to get a new spur when you upgrade to a slipper (like the DF03 had to)
I guess that means it's 48dp then, can't be bad.

Yes it's 48-pitch as the hop-ups show the TRF-501X pinions as options.

BTW: You didn't "need" new spurs with the DF03 slipper upgrade, it just happened to include an additional one. Once you have the slipper upgrade, you could choose from any of the 3 spurs when you installed it. 78T & 85T come with car, and 82T comes with slipper.

Here's a pic I found of the slipper with kit spur isntalled:

afaik the kit spurs are incompatible with the slipper on the DF03? perhaps I'm wrong since this is from memory. I switched straight over to a B4 spur however since it was the easy route to 48dp.

94eg is right. On the DF-03, the kit spurs work with the slipper set. The one that comes with the slipper is black in colour and the stock spurs are that slightly transluscent white-ish colour but they all have the same shape slipper-pad areas, so they all work.

they do indeed - never knew that. I got the slipper so I could go 48dp so I never really looked at the included one, I just imagined it was different

Looks mint - it's like a 501X that you don't mind scratching!

I'm very intrigued by this car as well. Look forward to hearing feedback once people have had a chance to give it some thorough track time.
