Default racing this weekend

Hi all

we are racing this coming weekend, something isn't right as the weather forecast is dry from now to then and sunday is said to get up to the positively tropical 13 or 14 degrees .not sure which track to use, the dirt will be finish with all it's new bits and improvements to new bits..but so is the grass, but so far most seem to want to try the dirt, even Ian and nathan

What's your new car like Simon?

I'm in Seattle but arrive back on Saturday. Prob come down to see the track but not racing as cars are not ready. Kyosho has rear shocks off and Losi is not finished yet - body not painted.

New car is good, still not 'dialled' for me yet but as quick as the RB6 already.

Earlier in week tried the improvements to grass track and my Lazer
Was liking both.
Perhaps a bit too much as broken car now, hence won't be down this week.

I'll there too. Grass is my preference, only as I feel I need to practice driving (my still almost unused TM2) on a higher grip track than dirt If not I'll settle for the dirt & maybe get some sneaky practice on the grass at some point during the day...

Ok the popular or unpopular post, I think we will run dirt tomorrow!

I have spoken to and read post on here for 7 for the dirt as most who have seen it or worked on it have said they would like to give it a go. I do understand wanting to familiarise with the grass for the upcoming regional meeting BUT having seen a couple of cars going round today and driven one myself the grass is very bumpy at this time, I think mainly as it's dry , so my next big job before our next meeting will be to get the heavy roller in (not the normal one we hire, this badboy is twice the size), we used it once before in 2007 it flattens all in it's path! so with this in mind running dirt this week makes sense as TBH any setup work done to your cars will be worthless as the track surface will totally change.

You mean to say I might feel the desire to kick my car across the carpark again
